An amazing 40x total combined magnification (using 5x on the iPhone 4S) can be achieved with this super lightweight and tiny package!
This kit will enable you to couple your Leica Monovid 8x daylight monocular with your Smartphone for up to 40x of high resolution magnification! The Check-Mate is a very lightweight and compact kit for surveillance duties, nature photography or videos, soccer moms, live sports matches, racing fans and much, much more! You can even mount this kit on our RAM Windshield and Smooth Surface Suction Cup mount. The RAM articulating arm mount allows infinite position mounting possibilities indoors, in vehicles and outdoors too!
When windshield mounted, this kit provides a highly convenient method of positioning your smartphone for viewing, charging and even as a windshield mounted video camera for driving! For the discreet investigator operation out of a vehicle, this kit is an invaluable asset as the kit is almost impossible to detect, from outside the vehicle. This is because of its small size and its proximity to the rear view mirror. The investigator can remain at a safe and discreet distance from his subject and yet obtain great video and still imagery, all hands free!
When window mounted, inside of a structure, the kit is very capable and will yield very good photos and video from locations otherwise inaccessible, because of the suction cup mounting and articulating arm design of the RAM mount! Remember with your smartphone capturing the imagery, you can store photos and video in memory, Bluetooth it to an iPad, Facetime call friends or associates (Facetime is for iPhone only), or SKYPE the imagery live to anyone with a compatible computer or smart phone! You can attach the kit via the RAM mount suction cup to the side of a vehicle fender, a window or any other smooth non-porous surface for hands free operations in the field.
Police officers can talk face to face (SKYPE or Facetime) with a Judge (in real time) while still on a surveillance mission and answer all of the Judge's questions relating to the obtaining of a search warrant. The Judge will be able to see and hear for him or herself what the officer is seeing and or hearing at this actual scene of the investigation! You will see far fewer warrant kickbacks when using this method, as the Judge will have been thoroughly satisfied after direct questioning of the surveilling officer!
